What Happens When I Ask My Husband To Help Me Think Up A Blog Post

Thursday, November 21, 2013

This is quite the busy week for me, including a very late night at work last night so my planning for my blog got just a little side tracked. When I realized that I didn’t have a post planned for today, I asked Tolar to help me.

A few nights ago while I let Tolar wash all of Baby K’s bottles (that’s right, while I let him – I’m a keeper that’s for sure!), I decided to ask him some questions and see what came out of his mouth. There were only two rules: he had just 15 seconds to answer and he had to keep everything clean.
What you will see below is exactly what I live with on a daily basis…and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

That's apple juice, not beer - because Tolar is hard core like that!

What Should I Blog About? Why people don’t call it Peen uhl lope. (As in the name Penelope)

What Do You Think of My Style? Put together.

Name a food. Wings.

What about a drink? Root beer.

What do you think about when I say vacation? The last vacation we went on (our Baby Moon), although as I say that I realize I’m lying, I’m thinking of Hawaii.

What is your ideal day? Wake up, play video games, get kisses from my wife, more video games, make fart noises at Baby K, play some music.

What is your dream job? Touring musician.

What do you think about when I mention JoJo? That he is a half second away from death. (This is so true and oh so sad for us…our poor JoJo will be 15 next month and the poor pup is declining. I don’t mean to put a damper on anything, we are so grateful that we still get these precious moments with JoJo)

What comes to mind when you think of old people? I’d like them to attempt to do something about their stench.

If you could have a useless super power, what would it be? The ability to not smell someone’s plopper in a public restroom (“I’m so juvenile”).

What is the biggest thing that having Baby K has affected? The size of my midsection. (says the man who did NOT carry the baby in his body for 9 months)

What do you think of my blogging? It would be more relevant if I were a girl.

Pretty Little Liars, what do you think about it? Worst. Show. Ever.

Would you rather I spend money on… NO!

Name a color combination. (pause) Is that like sunset orange?

Name one idiosyncrasy that I have that you wish I didn’t. Your compulsive cleaning. I could literally live in a bubble and you’d be in there trying to clean that s%&t.

And there you have it everyone. Anyone out there in need of a new blog post idea, I’m happy to lend you Tolar.

  2. I started watching PLL a year or so ago as my "guilty pleasure" show. My husband got sucked in and now I am not allowed to watch it without him. Same thing for The Vampire Diaries!

  4. This was adorable. I might have to try some of these questions on my husband... but I would be slightly nervous to hear some of his responses!!
