High Five For Friday

Friday, January 3, 2014

Even though the end of December was less than stellar for my family, I am still making it a priority to find good moments even during our trials. So here are my top five moments from this past week (and I'm happy to report that things are looking up for us!).

1.) Yes, we had to go to the ER to make sure Baby K was ok after our car accident (that wasn't too fun), but my sweet baby was in good spirits the entire time. I love how babies get so happy when they are stripped naked.

2.) My friends have been so supportive during these rough times. We received this beautiful bouquet of flowers from our friends Katie and Andy and also received a family care package from our friend Marcy. And the amount of cards, texts and phone calls have been amazing. Love to everyone!

3.) Someone is a big girl and got to sit on her own in the grocery cart, I think she liked it!

4.) My college roommate conveniently married a man who's parents are from Maryland so whenever they come visit for the holidays, I get to see her! We visited with them on New Year's Day and during our nice visit Baby K got to play the piano.

5.) Even during times of trials, this smile makes every thing better. There is nothing quite like having a happy baby smile at you. Its amazing, that's all I can say!

Happy weekend everyone!
