High Five For Friday

Friday, November 2, 2012

Friday actually snuck on me this week because I was out of work visiting my college girlfriends and then Hurricane Sandy hit; so all of that time off made me forget what day of the week it was. But alas, Friday is here, so I’m joining Lauren over at From My Grey Desk for her super awesome High Five For Friday Post.

Here are great moments from my week:

1.) When Tolar and I lost power during Hurricane Sandy, we played Monopoly by candlelight (and then continued to play it the next day even though our power came back on). And I won three out of five games!

2.) Pumpkin Muffins, yum dash o. That is all!
Isn't the packaging adorable?
3.) I love organization and finally found an adorable tray to keep all of my nail polishes in.

4.) During the Hurricane, we “roasted” marshmallows.
Don't worry, there is something between Tolar's hand and the flame, you just can't see it in the pic.
5.) DC Metro Church held a special Baptism, Worship and Communion service. I had the honor of serving on the Baptism team and was the person who greeted each person immediately after they got Baptized. It is such a cool experience seeing God move in people’s lives. Tolar played the bass on the worship team during the service. I love that I get to serve in God’s house with my husband!

Tolar’s eyes look closed, but they are, in fact, open.

I hope you had a great week! Stay tuned for one more Friday post coming up!

  1. Glad to hear you are ok. I am in NY and am also fine. We lost power for only 2 days. That was the extent of our "damage".
