High Five For Friday

Friday, May 1, 2015

Oh man, what a great week! Full of old friends, lots of quality time with my girl, a successful end of month with my Rodan + Fields business and more!!!

Here are some highlights:

1.) We took a quick trip up to Northern Virginia and had an opportunity to reconnect with some old friends. Our fabulous friends Dane and Courtney let us invade their house and were fabulous hosts. Baby K and their kids got LOTS of playtime together.

2.) Also while in Northern Virginia I got to hang out with my dear, dear friend Marcy. We haven't seen each other since August and it sure didn't feel like it had been that long. We picked right back up like no time had passed. Marcy is definitely a friend forever and I am so blessed by her presence in my life.

3.) The weather has been gorgeous this week, so Baby K and I spent a lot of time outside. We decided to hit up Randolph Park, which is this great place in Dublin where there are ball fields, a pool, walking trails, picnic shelters, disc golf courses and quite the fab playground.

4.) Baby K was "hiding" in her closet from us and thought it was just the funniest thing ever!

5.) I'm quite blessed with amazing friends in life. While in Northern Virginia I also got to visit with Ann and Kate who are basically sisters to me (Kate and I were roommates when we first moved to Alexandria). We have known each other since I was 4 years old and have always been close. It meant THE WORLD to me that Ann and Kate both drove to see me while we were in town visiting. There is nothing better than family and great friends!

How was your week? I hope it was a great one!!!

  1. Having great friends like that is the best! So glad that you had a good time while you were in NoVa, even if it wasn't under the best of circumstances! I still can't believe you were right around the corner from my house!! :) Maybe one day we can plan a meet up the next time you're in town! :)
Hope you guys have a nice weekend!!

  2. My daughter loves to hide behind our curtains and it is so funny because she laughs the whole time so not only can you see her body but the whole curtains are shaking because she's laughing so hard!
