Happy Friday!

Friday, February 13, 2015

It's the freakin' weekend! Woohoo.

First things first, Happy Birthday to my fantastic sister Ashley! I hope today is a terrific day and that this is your best year of life yet.

Now let's get into some fun moments from my week:

1.) After we finished our clean eating week, I declared that I was not going to cook dinner the next day. So of course we went on a family date to Outback. Yummy!

2.) These curls are so beautiful and I'm so jealous.

3.) Even though our clean eating week is over, I'm still keeping some of the recipes in my daily diet. This tomato and mozzarella salad is my new favorite. Want the recipe? Check me out on instagram here.

4.) Baby K woke up from a nap still very sleepy, so that meant that we got some awesome cuddle time together.

5.) I got to go out with the girl's from church for ladies night and we had a FABULOUS time. It is so fun to watch our group grow and to meet new friends each month. If you are in Roanoke/the NRV we get together for dinner on the 2nd Monday of each month. Let me know if you want to join. We always pick a new restaurant each month.

So that was my week. How was yours?

  2. My week has been a whirl wind. Tuesday they are a bomb from World War II find 600 meters from my house. Which was super scary. They were able to disarm it and no one was hurt. One Wednesday my family dogs passed away in her sleep. On top of that a bridge in the next town is falling down. Which caused the traffic to be a nightmare.

  3. Oh my word, what precious lil curls. I'm totally jealous too!

Clean eating takes so much work and even though it's good for the body sometimes it just tires you out. My husband and I have a great lil place that serves amazing peruvian chicken and rice and it's our go to for when we are too tired to cook but still don't want to break the macro budget.

    Have a fabulous weekend, lady!
