High Five For Friday

Friday, May 29, 2015

This has been a great week. I feel like I've been pretty productive, while also getting in plenty of time to relax, all while hanging out with some friends and family - those are the best weeks in my opinion. With Memorial Day this week, we had lots of opportunities to hang out with some of our friends from church and those times easily made my week! But more on my awesome church friends on Monday...

On to some top moments from this week (and for some reason a lot of them involve eating):

1.) Tolar and our friends, Brad and Jessi, got an opportunity to play music at the Draper Mercantile on Friday night. They are all three so talented (I always pretend Jessi's voice comes out of my mouth when I sing) and wow me every time they play together.

2.) Baby K loves yogurt, so much so that when she eats she gets it everywhere. So I tied her hair into a top knot to help keep her somewhat clean and I think that just upped her cuteness factor by about 50 points.

3.) I finally tried frozen grapes for the first time yesterday and my mind was blown...they are so good!!! My freezer will be full of grapes this summer I am sure.

4.) Baby K ran errands with me earlier this week and man was she good! I mean, she was the biggest trooper ever and never fussed. I think the fact that she and Roo both got their own seat in the cart at Target helped to keep her in a good mood.

5.) Baby K hasn't been all that interested in eating a lot of dinner lately. Wednesday night around 5:30 p.m. she was walking around the house saying "chicken nuggets, chicken nuggets" over and over again. So we piled into the car and took her to CookOut for some chicken nuggets, because when she asks for a specific food I'm going to give it to her if that means she will eat something other than Cheerios.

I'm linking up this post with September Farm, Bright on a Budget, Style Elixir and Meet @ the Barre.

  2. Love her little top knot and that she was such a good Target shopping buddy (her and Roo of course haha). So much cuteness! :)

  3. Cute pictures! That little topknot is darling. When my sister was little, we couldn't eat anywhere that didn't have chicken nuggets or chicken strips. Kids are definitely funny about their food choices! Have a great weekend!
