Thankful on a Thursday

This blog has been a dream of mine for several months and it wouldn’t have even happened without the help of some wonderful people.

  1. My friend and super awesome co-worker, Nicole – She designed the beautiful header for Pursuit of Pink. Not only did she design the lovely one you see displayed above, but she designed 14 others for me to choose from! She is such a dear friend and I was amazed at her ability to channel me in so many different ways as she was designing. Every design seemed to fit what I wanted for the blog. It was seriously too hard to pick just one, so I picked 5! Prepare for me to change things out when I’m ready for a new look.
  2. My blog designer, Cindy – I have never met Cindy face to face, but she does great work and is easy to communicate with via e-mail. I sent her the header from Nicole and she was able to take those design elements and layout my entire blog. She also installed everything for me, making the entire process super easy. And she worked fast, which I loved! Check out her business, Blessed Design Studio, here.
  3. My awesome Dad, Ron – When I had questions about Blogger and how this whole blogging thing works, I went to him. He blogs over at A Much Better View so he knows the ins and outs of how to post blogs, check your stats, etc. My Dad showed me how to work Blogger and has been extremely supportive and excited for me during the whole process. He even dedicated a blog post to announcing my blog. Thanks for the blog love Dad!
  4. And finally to the most amazing husband ever, Tolar – If I didn’t have a husband who works with computers, this blog probably wouldn’t have happened. He bought my domain name for me, set up my blog e-mail address and worked tirelessly to fix every single issue and bug that occurred when I was getting ready to launch this blog. He spent almost all of his free time last weekend fixing the site issues with my blog because he knew how much the launch and the site meant to me. I’m so thankful for his support in this endeavor. Just as I said in my About Me section, everyone should have one just like him in their life.

So thank you to everyone who helped get Pursuit of Pink up and running and thanks to those of you reading this now! I’m so happy with how it all turned out; this is only the beginning of greatness!
